Playwright
Jon has an MA in Playwright and Script Development from the University of Exeter and has written plays for venues and organisations around the UK.
He recently completed a seed commission for Theatre Royal Plymouth and had a short produced by Haywire Theatre.
Won the BBC Radio Wiltshire Playwrite! Competition in 2007.
‘Telling Tales’ was nominated and entered for the 'Prix ex aequo' International Children's and Youth Radio Festival.
Shortlisted to be Plymouth Laureate of Words in 2019.

He was commissioned to write two plays for The Box/Barbican Theatre ‘Spice Box’ and ‘Rope Walks’
Next Steps South West commissioned him to write ‘Why Would You?’ to tour Secondary Schools.
He wrote ‘Write Places’ one of five Compact Commissions for Exeter City Of Literature in 2021
He is currently developing ‘Is Anybody Out There’ a documentary theatre piece about how our minds lead us astray, ‘Likely.Darker.Removable’ a queer folk horror set on Dartmoor and ‘Temporary Victories’ about environmental activist burn out.
